Yashasvi Jaiswal create history against Zimbabwe

Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved a historic feat in the fifth T20I against Zimbabwe by scoring 12 runs off the very first legal delivery of India’s innings. The match started with Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza bowling a high full-toss, which Jaiswal hit for a six over deep square-leg. The umpire signaled a no-ball, giving India a free-hit. On the next delivery, Jaiswal hit another six straight down the ground. This meant India scored 13 runs from just one legal delivery, a first in men’s T20I cricket.

Despite early setbacks, India posted a competitive total of 167 for 6, largely due to Sanju Samson’s innings of 58 runs off 45 balls. He partnered with Riyan Parag (22 runs) to stabilize India’s innings after an initial struggle.

Pacers Blessing Muzarabani (2/19) and Richard Ngarava (1/29) were the most effective bowlers for Zimbabwe. India made changes to their lineup, bringing in Mukesh Kumar and Riyan Parag, while Zimbabwe included Brandon Mavuta.

The match marked a memorable performance by Jaiswal, setting a new record in T20I cricket with his explosive start for India.
