In the fifth and final T20I in Harare, India defeated Zimbabwe by 42 runs to secure the series 4-1 on Sunday. India, batting first after being invited, posted 167 for 6 in 20 overs thanks to Sanju Samson’s resilient half-century.
Samson scored 58 runs off 45 balls, hitting 1 four and 4 sixes.
In response, Zimbabwe could only manage 125 runs in 18.3 overs, with Mukesh Kumar taking a career-best 4 wickets for 22 runs. Blessing Muzarabani was Zimbabwe’s top bowler, claiming 2 wickets for 19 runs in his four overs.
