American socialite and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, who came to Mumbai to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant along with her sister Khloe Kardashian, revealed that the grand ceremony shall feature in their reality TV show “The Kardashians”.
Kim, joined her sister Khloe, and a few of the international celebrities who flew into India for the wedding of Anant and Radhika. The wedding was held on Friday night at Jio World Drive in Mumbai – a convention center built and owned by the Ambani family.
In a prior video shared by Khloe to social media, a production crew with cameras, lights, and microphones were tied to the tail of the sisters, which raised some eagle-eyed fans to think they were filming for “The Kardashians.”.
Well, Kim took to her latest Instagram Story post and confirmed the speculative story by sharing a screengrab of a video of her and Khloe post getting ready for the high-profile ceremony. She wrote, “Had to screen grab our video bc we’re just so happy to be lucky enough to travel the world together! And duh we were filming The Kardashians too so you guys can see Kim and Khloe take India.”
“The Kardashians”, which streams in India on Disney Hotstar, puts the spotlight on the personal lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family. The series is a retooled continuation of their previous reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which ended in 2021 after a 20-season run on the US network E!.
Both sisters styled themselves with Dani Levi and were clad in custom-made designs and jewelry by celebrity-go-to designer Manish Malhotra. Kim glowed in a sparkling red lehenga saree, while Khloe opted for an ivory-gold lehenga-saree with heavy embellishments.
The Kardashian sisters arrived in Mumbai early on Friday morning with an entourage of staff, security, and bags. They were seen being provided with the famous red carpet at the Taj Mahal Hotel and were even taken for an auto rickshaw drive through city streets densely packed with people before the wedding.
Anant Ambani, the young son of the richest man in Asia, is joining pharmaceutical heiress and longtime love Radhika Merchant in holy matrimony at the star-studded event.
