Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has spoken about his son, Luv Sinha, missing his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. In a recent interview, he addressed rumors of a family rift and condemned the ‘smear campaign’ against Luv for his absence.
Talking to Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha said, “We have faced bigger problems. This is nothing. There is nothing to worry about. We were like any ordinary family with a wedding. Why did we get so much attention? We didn’t ask for it.” He added, “This isn’t the first time a wedding like this happened. Our family was targeted with a vicious smear campaign. I won’t tolerate attacks on my family.”
When asked about Luv’s absence from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding, Shatrughan Sinha said family matters should stay private. “We may disagree and argue on certain issues, but we are one family. No one can break us,” he stated.
Shatrughan also expressed confidence that Zaheer will keep Sonakshi happy.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a civil ceremony on June 23, followed by a grand reception at Bastian, Mumbai. The event was attended by celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Richa Chadha, Kajol, Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and others.
