CM Adityanath emphasized that the state government is committed to finding out the truth. He condemned any political actions instead of offering condolences, stressing the government’s sensitivity to the situation. He vowed to get to the bottom of the incident and ensure justice.

Forensic experts and a dog squad are already at the scene, collecting evidence to assist in the investigation. The NDRF-SDRF team is conducting search and rescue operations. A special team, including ADG Agra and the Aligarh Divisional Commissioner, has been formed to investigate the cause of the incident, with a report expected within 24 hours.

Most of the 121 victims of the stampede during the ‘satsang’ in Sikandra Rao have been identified. The event attracted devotees from various districts in Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states. Officials are working to identify the remaining bodies. The tragedy occurred as devotees tried to catch a glimpse of Bhole Baba and collect soil from around his feet as the event concluded.

District Magistrate Ashish Kumar explained that the satsang was a private event with permission granted by the sub-divisional magistrate. The local administration provided security outside the venue, while the organizers managed arrangements inside.
