The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the examination date for the CLAT 2025, in an official notification on May 6, 2024. The exam date was finalized after the April 26, 2024 meeting. However, the consortium hasn’t released other details related to the exam.
According to the notification, “The Executive Committee and the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities at their Meetings held on April 26, 2024, decided that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 shall be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Further details regarding the syllabus, application and counselling process shall be released shortly.”
Registrations for CLAT 2025 will be initiated soon on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Meanwhile, students are requested to check the official website for updates regularly.
Eligibility
Any candidate registering for CLAT 2025, must satisfy the below-listed eligibility criteria to apply for the undergraduate law courses.
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks if candidates fall under the General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories.
- Students under the SC/ST category must have scored at least 40% marks in class XII.
- Class XII appearing students in the academic year March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.
