The historic Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya on Monday was captured on camera, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the event “will be etched in our memories for years to come”.
The Prime Minister is seen entering the temple’s sanctum sanctorum in the three-minute footage while wearing a crimson dupatta that has been folded and clutching a silver umbrella.
In the video, PM Modi was also seen receiving blessings from the new Ram Lalla statue and participating in the consecration ceremony at the recently built temple.
PM Modi wrote as the description for the video on X, “What we saw in Ayodhya yesterday, January 22, will be etched in our memories for years to come.”

He stated that “January 22, 2024, is not just a date on the calendar but it marks the beginning of a new era” earlier on Monday.
