Hyundai Creta Facelift: Launch Date, Expected Price, Features

The unveiling of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift, set for January 16, 2024, has piqued the interest of the automotive community. Since the model’s second-generation launch in March 2020, this is a critical upgrade. The Creta has established itself as a strong competitor in the mid-size SUV sector, competing with vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.

A new grille, innovative LED headlights with a split pattern, and a revised bumper will grace the front end. The side profile is still unmistakable but has been boosted by new alloy wheels, while the rear end has been modified with LED taillights and a revised bumper, all of which contribute to a sleeker and more dominating appearance.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will have a new cabin experience with a new color theme, new seat upholstery, and a completely digital 10.25-inch driver’s display. The steering wheel, as well as a sophisticated infotainment system and enhanced dual-zone automatic temperature control, will be replaced.

The advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which incorporates adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, emergency braking, high beam help, collision avoidance, and lane keep assist, is a significant addition to the new Creta’s features.

Under the hood, the 2024 Creta facelift will share engine options with the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. These include a 1.5-litre Turbo-GDi petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115PS and 144Nm, and a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine offering 116PS and 250Nm. The transmission choices are diverse, featuring a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed intelligent manual, an intelligent variable transmission, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 6-speed automatic.

The present Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom), but the 2024 model is expected to be somewhat more expensive due to major upgrades and increased amenities. As the release date near, excitement for this updated and technologically superior SUV grows.
