According to police, near Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar, an unidentified robber threw chilli powder in the man’s eyes and stole his two-wheeler, robbing him of ₹3.5 lakh.
On Friday, the event happened when Pradeep Mongia was travelling from Chottu Ram Nagar in Bahadurgarh.
“I had kept the ₹3.5 lakh in my scooty. The robbers intercepted my way and snatched my scooty and money,” the complainant said.
Unidentified men have been arrested by the Bahadurgarh police under sections 379-B, 328, and 341 of the Indian Penal Code.
